John Harrison - Photographer
From an early age John has had a love of the outdoors. As a climber and mountaineer he has spent as much time as possible exploring the mountains, crags and fells, in Britain, Europe and as far a field as South America. Hand in hand with this has gone his love of photography and a desire to capture the beauty and drama of the natural landscape.
John lives and works in Barrow at the end of the Furness peninsula in Cumbria. A beautiful place in its own right and just a stones throw from the Lake District it provides John with ample opportunity to go for a wander and seek out those images that he feels capture something of the mood and atmosphere of the places he visits.
As well as taking the photographs John does all his own printing and creates fine art giclée prints from his images using light fast inks on high quality papers.
Print Sizes
A3+ (483mm x 330mm). These are the paper sizes, the images on the paper will be smaller to give a border and actual image sizes vary slightly depending on the composition.
Some photographs are in panoramic format and the sizes of these will be given next to the individual image.
